Our bodies are like drinking glasses, our consciousness the water that fills them. When the body expires and the glass breaks, the water flows into the rivers, into the seas. From the rivers and seas shall come water to fill new glasses.

Karma results in the water molecules gathering in one glass. Karma results in the water molecules going their separate ways when the glass breaks. Karma results in the relentless cycle of life and death.
