Yes, agree with you. Humans have better chance to end all the bad karmic connections. That's why to be born as humans is rare, knowing this, one must practice towards relieve from rebirth.
Shifu said once we lose our human bodies, we will never know when we will be born as humans again. If we can't relieve from rebirth in this life, we should at least observe the 5 precepts and not to lose the human bodies in our next life.
人身难得今已得，

此身不向今生度，
更待何生度此身。
